New paintings in progress.


Shane has been working on a portrait of his brother Chris, and his wife Erina in their wedding garb. He has a bit more painting to do on the kimono, then he will be finished. He had a photo shoot for a new painting. I will post pictures soon!
I am working on a painting that has beautiful foxgloves! They have been fun to paint! I will post pictures as I go.

More progress, almost done!


Shane and I have been getting ready for our show in Ardmore at Studio 107. We are really excited! He is building frames and I am trying to get this painting finished, but it is raining here in Enid and my white paint is refusing to dry! Shane is working on a charcoal drawing, I will post that soon.

New portrait.


I started working on this portrait last week. I am really enjoying the high key palette. I am excited about the new direction in my work. I am working on a series of portraits (double and single) that deal with the dream/surreal world. I will post pictures soon! Here is this for now...

"Whimsy"


Here is "Whimsy" so far...

Our As Seen by Three project is coming along. We have all (Shane, Wesley Young, our writer and dear friend, and I) finished "Loss." I have started working on "Whimsy" and Shane has started working on "Fear." We are planning on eight different human emotions. Wes has written a bit more about our As Seen by Three project on our Enid Creative Collective blog.

"Loss" is complete!



I finally got back home after being away for a month! I was so excited to work! I finished the "Loss" piece for our As Seen By Three project.


Shane has started his "Loss" painting. I am excited to see how it turns out!
He has "Whimsy" figured out and has already had a photo shoot with our friend, and fellow artist Kim Schepperley.

I am currently looking for a model to work with on my "Whimsy" piece.
I have sketches and ideas ready for several of the emotions for our As Seen By Three project. I am very happy to be back in the studio!
