There has been a lot of work going on in the studio. A lot of things have been started, but not too many finished. That is until yesterday. Shane finished this lovely painting! It is currently untitled.

I love this time of year! It is cold outside so it is super easy to sip coffee all day and paint until we can't paint anymore!

Charleston, here we come...again!

Our flight and hotel is booked for Charleston! The group show, "Fortunate" at Robert Lange Studios is going to be great! Shane and I both have work in their annual invitational! We are super excited! Terry Strickland brought this to my attention. It is in this months American Art Collector magazine!

Shane's new painting for "Fortunate," Robert Lange Studios Charelston

Shane and I are on an epic journey! We just drove 1,400 miles to California. We dropped work off at Howard Schepp Fine Art in Palm Desert, CA. We have a brief break in Laguna before heading off to San Francisco to deliver our paintings at Sandra Lee Gallery. So far, it has been a blast! We have a brief break at home (to get a lot more painting done!) before heading to Charleston, SC for a show with Robert Lange Studios. We are both very excited!

I just finished this piece for a show at Wally Workman Gallery called After Dark! My eyes were so tired of staring at lace that I swore I would never do it again, but then I wandered into an antique store and bought another lace dress! I just love them! Oh well, my eyes will recover!

Austin!

We had such a wonderful day in Austin today! What a great city! We were so pleased to meet Wally and Rachel from Wally Workman Gallery! I am so excited to be working with them!

My painting, Her Currents Brought Destruction From Which Sprang Flowers (oil on panel, 16x24) will be part of a group show titled "Rivers" which will be on display at the gallery from July 9-July 30th. SOLD.
